Holiday Cardinals by local artist Barbara Campbell captures three cheerful cardinals gathered together among winter greenery. With its playful watercolor style and warm holiday greeting, this charming design celebrates the beauty of togetherness, connection, and sharing joy with those around us.

Barbara Campbell is a beloved local artist and potter. She has a long history with Crisis Control Ministry as a volunteer and a former board chair. Barbara is well known for her charming paintings of birds.

Wrapped in the spirit of giving, Hope, Peace, Joy by Tammy Caudill features Crisis Control Ministry’s signature houses nestled among festive greenery and topped with a beautiful golden bow. This original design is a reminder that the gifts of hope, peace, and joy are even more meaningful when shared with our neighbors.

Tammy Caudill has been creating Holiday Honor Cards for Crisis Control Ministry for many years and has served in many capacities for the organization including: digital and graphic design contractor, former PR& Marketing Manager, and volunteer.

Peace & Joy is a special Holiday Encore that we’re excited to bring back from the archives. This beloved design, originally created for Crisis Control Ministry by Beth Jones in 2016, returns with its beautiful reminder that Peace & Joy are timeless gifts worth sharing, season after season.

Beth Jones has been creating Holiday Honor Cards for Crisis Control Ministry for many years. She is the production manager of Our State Magazine, a freelance graphic designer, and a Crisis Control Ministry volunteer.

Holiday Flowers was created for Crisis Control Ministry by local artist Evie Toner. The design, first introduced in 2025, features a floral arrangement, surrounded by gold snowflakes that provides the perfect backdrop for the vibrant red flowers.

Peace is an original watercolor painting by local artist Tammy Caudill. The artwork beautifully captures two Pine Warblers perched among the vibrant branches of a native Holly tree. The branches intertwine around the word Peace, serving as a visual reminder of the hope and harmony we all long for; the Pine Warbler symbolizes joy, adaptability, and new beginnings; and the Holly symbolizes endurance and resilience.

This card, first introduced in 2025, is a heartfelt tribute to strength, renewal, and the enduring spirit of peace.

Interesting Fact: The Pine Warbler is a winter resident of the Carolinas and Holly is also native to our region.

Seasons’s Greetings, a card designed by Tim Vogel, features the Benjamin Hubbard House, located near Moravian Falls, North Carolina in Wilkes County. It was built in 1778 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Tim Vogel is an internationally recognized filmmaker, writer and artist. He is also known locally as the director and editor of the beloved TV Show, Life in the Carolinas.

Prince of Peace, designed by Beth Jones, is inspired by Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Trees, Light, and Love, first introduced in 2022, is a beloved, limited-edition design created by Beth Jones.

Chickadee Tidings is a watercolor of a chickadee bird on a holly branch by local artist Barbara Campbell.

Interesting Fact: Chickadees do not migrate and are favorite residents of North Carolina throughout the winter months. These feathered locals beautifully represent survival through difficult seasons of life.
