Wee Care! Cereal Drive

Children from A Child's World Learning Center with Cereal
Even the smallest members of our community can make a BIG difference in the fight against hunger. Crisis Control Ministry invites Forsyth County preschools, day care centers and elementary schools to take part in a cereal drive to help stock the Crisis Control Ministry food pantries.

WEE Care! is an opportunity for young children to learn the importance of helping others through hands-on participation, as well as to learn about making healthy eating choices. Parents are encouraged to help their children shop for cereal to be given to hungry children and to use this as an opportunity to teach children about reading food labels and making more nutritious food choices.

This year’s Wee Care! Cereal Drive held from March 4-29, 2019, collected 3,319 boxes of cereal!

Over the years, Children have donated more than 68,000 boxes of cereal to our Client Choice Food Pantries through the Wee Care! drive.
