Wee Care! Cereal Drive

Children from A Child's World Learning Center with Cereal
Even the smallest members of our community can make a BIG difference in the fight against hunger. Crisis Control Ministry invites Forsyth County preschools, day care centers and elementary schools to take part in a cereal drive to help stock the Crisis Control Ministry food pantries.

WEE Care! is an opportunity for young children to learn the importance of helping others through hands-on participation, as well as to learn about making healthy eating choices. Parents are encouraged to help their children shop for cereal to be given to hungry children and to use this as an opportunity to teach children about reading food labels and making more nutritious food choices.

The 2018 Wee Care! Cereal Drive was held from March 1-23, 2018. The final count: 2,387 boxes of cereal were collected at 51 locations!

Children have donated more than 65,000 boxes of cereal to our Client Choice Food Pantries through the Wee Care! drive.
